Nominated by an Esports group that she runs, Amanda’s students wanted to recognise the dedication she has to teaching and the work she does to go above and beyond for them, providing them with the best support and opportunities to help them progress on to higher education or employment.

Speaking to Amanda, she said, “I’m extremely proud and overwhelmed to have received this award. My students are always my number one priority.

Teaching is something that I love and get so much enjoyment from, so, to have my students recognise me in this way is extra special.

Assistant Principal for Creativity and Skills, Angela Pignatelli commented, “Amanda plays a pivotal role in our Computing lecturing team. Her love and dedication to the industry, her job and students is admirable and is key to the success of our students.

It’s clear just how highly her students regard her and we are extremely proud to see her receive the recognition she deserves through this award.
