West College Scotland campuses will be open on this day, but many classes are likely to be affected. For those classes able to go ahead lecturers will inform students in advance. Libraries and cafeterias will also be open for those wishing to study on campus (More information can be found on the WCS Student Intranet).

EIS-FELA has also given notice of thirteen additional days of strike action that may take place. These are: 

Tuesday 26 April, Wednesday 27 April,  

Wednesday 4 May, Thursday 5 May,  

Tuesday 10 May, Wednesday 11 May, Thursday 12 May, 

Tuesday 17 May, Wednesday 18 May, Thursday 19 May,  

Tuesday 24 May, Wednesday 25 May, Thursday 26 May.
