Since graduating from West College Scotland Laura has excelled in a number of fantastic opportunities in industry which Laura says, “wouldn’t have been possible without my college education background and qualification.”  

With over 12 years’ experience in the industry, Laura started her exciting career working for several high fashion colour brands as a make up artist and then a mentor. She said, “This enabled me to work various press launches, red carpets,  travel and meet fantastic people along the way.”  

In recent years she has taken her knowledge gathered from education in industry and applied that to building a successful career as a creative freelance make up artist.  Through this journey she has been able to work with various creative teams on editorial and fashion shoots and have most recently been signed by Colours Agency as a Creative.  

Laura said, “All of this experience combined, lead me to achieving one of my career goals, becoming a lecturer to help shape and inform the next generation of creative talent.”
