Having initially trained as a Nails Technician back in 2005, Lauren O’Donnell completed her HND Makeup Artistry at West College Scotland in the class of 2011/2012. 

Following her time at College, Lauren started working with illamasqua in London immediately after graduating in 2013 before moving to Chanel as a Regional Makeup Specialist after just 6 months in the capital.  

Lauren then worked her way up to National Events team before managing Tamara Ecclestone’s Notting Hill salon, Show Beauty where she learned a lot about managing her own business and decided to go freelance. 

In Scotland, Lauren has worked on a range of projects with Colours Agency including the European tour for ‘Musical Starnights’ travelling all over Europe with the cast, creating the quick change makeup looks and wigs. 

Building her London business since 2017, Lauren launched my own brand and website, linking with a number of notable photographers to build her portfolio including Nik Pate who she now partners with, creating portfolio packages for models/performers. She grew her business online, particularly through Instagram and has worked on magazine shoots, bridal and event makeup and assisting other makeup artists to further her knowledge in areas she is keen to diversify into. She is currently assisting celebrity makeup artist Tania Grier who does a lot of work on red carpet looks.  

Lauren diversified her skill set into spray tanning with Sienna X as well as being qualified in acrylic, gel, shellac nails and nail art which she specialises in, meaning she can turn her hand to a whole other skillset on shoots.
