This experience fuelled her passion for the professional makeup world and motivated her to pursue a career in the exciting realm of TV and film. Determined to make her dreams a reality, Laura saved up and embarked on a journey to London, where she had the privilege of attending Christine Blundell’s Makeup Academy. She then spent five years working on TV commercials and major events throughout the UK, including high-profile events such as Miss England and Miss World. These experiences provided invaluable growth and further shaped her expertise.
While makeup remained her primary focus, she also dedicated several summers to immersing herself in the festival scene, specializing in creating stunning vintage hairstyles. She said “This passion for hairstyling fuelled my desire to expand my repertoire and deepen my knowledge of period hairstyles.”
Currently, her main focus revolves around TV and film, where she thrives in the dynamic environment of bustling crowd rooms. This work exposes her to a multitude of eras and takes her to breath-taking locations across the UK. Laura said,
