Our Clydebank & Greenock Hairdressing and Beauty department are showing they care for the local community this winter by giving back to local groups and charities. The initiative which launched early December saw our teams open their doors to various community groups offering hair and beauty treatments to help combat the cost of living crisis and make their members feel just a little bit special this festive season!

Running throughout November and December at our Clydebank campus, clients could select from File & Polish, Hair Cut, Shampoo & Blow Dry or Shampoo & Set Plus Optional Conditioning treatments for a reduced price of just £2.

One of the groups involved, ‘Drum Hub’ a Community Charity set up in 2016 with the view to prevent and relieve poverty in Drumchapel and Golden Friendships Club based in Dalmuir Community Hall who are a charity which was started to help people alleviate social inclusion by organising fun activities. Drumchapel Family Learning Centre have also attended thus far on other dates. In Greenock local community groups who got involved include Inverclyde Carers centre, Your Voice and Branchton Community Centre. 

Level 5 Hairdressing student, Shane Tivers said, 

“It’s great to be involved in this initiative. We are getting to put our skills to the test while giving back to local people this Christmas.”
