Hi, I’m Stacey McKillop. I am known as ‘Makeup by Stacey’ in the industry.

I specialise in Luxury Bridal, Event & E-commerce Makeup.

I first attended an Introduction to Fashion Makeup Evening Course for 8 weeks for basic skills in 2016. Then applied for the Makeup Artistry course at West College Scotland - Clydebank Campus at the end of 2016 & graduated in 2019.

Since leaving college, I have luckily won a Renfrewshire Business Award in 2019,Scottish Hair & Beauty Award in 2021 & Confetti Wedding Award in 2023.

I have hosted 3 makeup masterclasses over the past few years which I absolutely love to do. I also offer 1-1 private makeup lessons. My next step in my career is to have my own salon & training academy and to become a lecturer. I really enjoying mentoring aspiring makeup artists.

I recently opened my own makeup studio which is one of my biggest achievements to date. It’s such an amazing feeling to call somewhere your own especially when you’ve worked extremely hard to get there.

If it wasn’t for attending college, I wouldn’t have learned important things about makeup. You don’t realise certain aspects of makeup exist until you get started. So, I think it’s really important to stick in with college & you will get a lot more opportunities being fully qualified & experienced.
