Well done goes to seven HN Photographers from Clydebank and Paisley who managed to raise £442 by selling their portraiture shots from the prestigious Graduation Ceremonies in November.

As part of the HN Photography course students are required to cover work experience modules, and for the first time ever the Students’ images were sold via an online photography gallery.

Student Jolanta Ziarnick (pictured 2nd from left) commented, ‘Our class was keen to support the Glasgow Children's Hospital Charity. We were all overwhelmed by the amount of sales we made from our photography – it’s a good feeling to know that people like our work and that it’s going to a good cause. It was a great event to be involved in and really helped build our confidence.’

Lara MacDonald, Community Campaigns Fundraiser said:

By the students undertaking  this fundraising they are helping to ensure that the children and families we support at the Royal Hospital for Children, Glasgow have the very best experience and care. It’s an incredible amount of money that the photography students have managed to raise and we are grateful for their wonderful generosity and support!

Course Lecturer Margaret Cambridge said, ‘This was the first year that we sold the Graduation images online. It’s turned out to be a huge success and it’s given our students good experience in photographing large scale events.’
