Content

This course is designed to enable Health and Social Care assistants to increase their knowledge and skills in the theory and practice of Personal Care. The course will cover the following areas:

  • Personal Care Needs
  • Communication Skills
  • Meeting Clients’ Hygiene Needs
  • Meeting Clients’ Nutritional/Feeding Needs
  • Continence and Stoma Care
  • Pressure Sore Prevention

Format

Bespoke delivery of the course can be provided for organisations with sufficient staff. Dates, times and content can be negotiated to suit specific teams.

Price

These courses are most suitable for groups and number dependent group rates apply. Individuals may occasionally join onto a group and an incremental price will apply to that individual.
