Course Aims

This 1-day College certificated course is suitable for healthcare professionals, parents, caregivers and anyone who interacts with individuals exhibiting ADHD.

The most common behavioural disorder in the UK, ADHD is a group of behavioural symptoms that include inattentiveness, hyperactivity, and impulsiveness. This course will help you in…

• Developing an understanding of the latest research and medical support for children and young people with ADHD
• Understanding the behaviours and effects of ADHD on children and young people
• Developing a range of suitable responses and strategies to promote the inclusion of children with ADHD in an educational setting

 

 

 

Learners will have the opportunity to explore the subject through a mix of training materials and guided discussions / class exercises.

Course delivery is via Microsoft Teams and will run 3 or 4 times a year on dates selected by the College, subject to demand. Alternatively, we can work with single groups on dates identified by mutual agreement.
