Having graduated from West College Scotland back in 2007, Craig Forrest-Thomas has enjoyed a diverse and exciting career working in theatre in the West End, touring the UK and internationally, as well as working overseas in America, Canada and Australia. He has also worked on TV/Film with productions by Apple, Netflix, BBC and HBO.
Speaking of his time at College Craig said, “I had an incredible 3 years at college and thrived learning and developing my skills as a MUA. With the support and experience of the tutors I went on to win 3 national bodypainting championships and Student Makeup Artist of the year as well as an SVQ Hero award.”
In 2015 Craig won the Technical Theatre Award for Outstanding Achievement in Wigs and Make Up for his work on Shrek the Musical. He is currently Associate Make Up Designer and Head of Wigs, Hair and Make Up on Mrs Doubtfire the Musical Comedy which will opened May 2023 at the Shaftesbury Theatre London.
He is also delighted to continue his work as Wigs Supervisor on the play Steel Magnolias and as Make Up Designer for Madagascar the Musical this year, which is currently touring the USA and will also launch a UK Tour in Autumn 2023.
