West College Scotland is delighted to be shortlisted in three categories at this year’s College Development Network Awards.

Congratulations go to our HND Interior Architecture and our HNC Graphic Design students that worked on a fantastic re-brand and refurbishment client project with Multan Tandoori in Paisley – Paisley’s oldest established Indian restaurant.

In response to the cancellation of the 2020 exam diet, SQA developed an alternative certification model for 2020 to ensure that the hard work of Scotland’s learners is fully recognised. The alternative certification model allowed SQA to award grades to all learners entered for National 5, Higher and Advanced Higher courses as fairly and reliably as possible, across subjects and levels.

West College Scotland is delighted to announce this years HND Interior Design &  HND Graphic Design Student of the Year Award winners. Lecturers come together every year to discuss and nominate who they think should be awarded the coveted prize. This year has seen a number of students nominated and as such, we have joint winners of this years prize.

For the seventh year in a row, our HND Interior Design Students have been mentored by David Ross, Director of Keppie Design, to follow a design brief that lets students express their creativity and display the skills they've learned during their time at the College.

Design CoLAB is a collaboration partnership West College Scotland and Colin Taylor Neat Living and Mhairi Claire Wilkies HLM Architects. Together West College Scotland, Colin Taylor and Mhairi Claire have co-created a unique collaboration to foster outcomes between education and enterprise.

West College Scotland would like to congratulate our recent cohort of students from intu Braehead who recently completed their Chartered Management Institute (CMI) qualifications. Amongst the group was 33-year-old Stephen Stronach who was the only Scottish finalist selected by the CMI Student of the Year event for 2020.
