Helping Those in Need this Christmas
Staff and students from across the College donate toys and gifts to their local Women’s Aid centres. Christmas for so many of us, is a time for making memories with friends and family and exchanging present with loved ones. Sadly, this isn’t the case for everyone. Hundreds of people rely on the kindness of others and we at West College Scotland wanted to do our bit to help those less fortunate across our local communities.

West College Scotland (WCS) won two awards and received three Highly Commended, and one Commended commendations at last night’s (Thursday 11th December) annual CDN College Awards held at the Glasgow Radisson Blu hotel.

Travel and Tourism Students Earn Their Wings
Students from the College’s Clydebank campus Travel, Tour Guiding and Airport Operations course celebrated the completion of their Cabin Crew unit with an awards ceremony on Thursday 2 December.

Local school Pupils Get a Taste for Professional Cookery thanks to West College Scotland and DYW
Inspired by International Chefs Day that highlights the importance of passing on knowledge and culinary skills to the next generation of chefs, West College Scotland in partnership with Developing the Young Workforce (DYW) hosted a school ‘takeover’ which saw over 200 school pupils from 30 different schools visit the Colleges campuses in Clydebank, Greenock and Paisley.
