Two local teams celebrate success with the support of WCS & DYW!

After the success of the Pre-Apprentice Electrical Installation course at our Clydebank campus we will be opening applications for our Paisley campus this August.

Students at West College Scotland’s Greenock campus are amongst the first in Scotland to undertake a new Scottish Qualification Authority (SQA) Cyber Security qualification.

Nine Danish retail students from Business College Syd arrived in Paisley at the end of March, and have just finished three week placements with local businesses.

As you will probably be aware, the lecturer’s union, the EIS, is involved in a National pay dispute.  This involves lecturers in colleges across Scotland. As well as strike action, the lecturers have voted to undertake a ‘resulting boycott’ and the ‘withdrawal of goodwill’.

This year’s trip to Amsterdam was opened to all Art and Design students. With a packed itinerary, the students visited some of Amsterdam’s top museums and attractions - and they even met some famous celebs along the way!
