ERASMUS+ students from Denmark had a great time with us!

We have recently hosted a group of Danish Retail students from our partner school, Business College Syd in Sønderborg, Denmark. The seven students, all in their first year of studies were delighted to fulfil placements in 6 local stores: Dobbies, M&CO, Game & Boots at intu Braehead and Maplin at Abottsinch Retail Park.

Clydebank Campus plumbing apprentice secures third place in national competition

Daniel Trainer, third year plumbing apprentice student at our Clydebank Campus, and his lecturer Allan Bauld attended the annual SNIPEF SkillPlumb Competition taking place from Friday 9 to Saturday 10 June at Dundee and Angus College.

Paisley 2021 inspired game ‘Pride of Lions’ wins in competition judged by school pupils

For their graded unit, our HNC Games development students had to design a game on a predefined theme: Paisley 2021. After 10 weeks of programming, development, design and fine-tuning, last Friday was THE big day! The games were being tested by very challenging judges: primary school pupils.

2016-17 was another great year of accomplishments for our Greenock Campus Painting & Decorating department, with students working hard to develop strong skills and take steps towards a career into Construction. Construction students built a room to help Care students gain invaluable practical skills

Our Greenock Campus Construction students have worked throughout the Academic year on a project which aimed to transform a classroom into a Dementia Care room. The project has now reached completion and the room they’ve transformed will provide outstanding support to our Health & Social Care students in their learning experience.
