Wellbeing Matters
At West College Scotland, we aim to make your time at college as enjoyable and fulfilling as possible. Wellbeing Matters is a holistic approach that promotes the positive physical and mental health, wellbeing and safety of our students. As an enrolled on-campus student, you have access to a range of support services including one-to-one counselling, wellbeing support, mindfulness classes, sport and physical activities, safeguarding services and more.
Student Wellbeing Service
Our Student Wellbeing Service offers short-term practical and emotional support and guidance to students on any issues affecting their studies and/or mental health and wellbeing.
Our Wellbeing Advisors offer one-to-one appointments, a drop-in service, as well as leading workshops and having a presence at events such as our Freshers Fairs.
The Wellbeing team can also help students in short-term financial crisis with free hygiene products, basic food and clothing.
