My name is Vanessa Thompson and I am the Student President. I work 5 days, 9-5pm across all our campuses! I hope this means I will be able to meet and get to know as many of you as possible!
I was a student within the Waterfront Campus for 2 years studying Access to Humanities and HNC Social Sciences. My previous experience within the Students' Association was that of the Women's Officer, which gave me an insight into what the SA does.
My aim is to continue on the work from our previous President and will introduce more areas of development for the SA throughout the year, so keep an eye out for any announcements.
If you see me on campus stop and say hello or if you want to discuss anything, please pop into the office or send me an email on firstname.lastname@example.org and we will get a catch up sorted!

I want to improve engagement between students and the Students' Association and I believe the best way forward in doing that is by working closely with Class Reps. By doing this we will fulfil the motto of the Students' Association which is ‘making the student voice heard’.
