What will I learn?
You'll learn about:
- Creating a portfolio of your work
- 2D software
- 3D software
- CAD drawing
- Rendering
You'll be working with industry contacts on real client briefs.
You will learn the full design process, including: mind-maps, research, thumbnails, roughs and final solutions. You will do this through sketchbook development and digital design, whilst finding creative solutions to given briefs. You will also get the chance to learn, develop and work with a great design team with many years teaching and industry experience who are multi-award winning.
You'll also work on a broad range of live graphic design projects based on real client brief.
What qualifications do I need?
You'll need to have successfully completed HNC 3D Design with 15 credits. For a place on the course you'll need to present your portfolio at an interview. It should show a high level of technical and creative skill in every aspect of your work.
What can I do after?
After successfully completing this course you'll have the skills needed to get an entry level role in theatre, set, exhibition, display and visual merchandising design.
Or you could develop your skills further by studying another course, such as:
- A degree level course in interior architecture or design
