Assessment

Assessments will take place throughout and learners will also be required to submit a workplace portfolio.

Additionally, candidates require 675 hours of mentored, on-the-job experience with a qualified Gas Safe engineer to build their portfolio. Mentors are to be arranged independently, not by the College.

Course Duration

10 days in August (condensed into two weeks), then one day per week (56 days in total, including August dates and bolt-ons).

Although the programme is scheduled for one academic year, BPEC allows up to 2 years from registration to complete the portfolio.

Once your portfolio is completed, you can return to complete your ACS on a first-come, first-served basis.
