Course Aims
Where your individual appliance certificates have a different expiry date from your CCN1, these individual modules are for Gas engineers looking to renew their qualifications to allow them to continue working on a range of different gas fired appliances. The modules available are:
- CKR1 - Domestic Natural Gas Cookers
- HTR1- Domestic Natural Gas Fires
- MET2 - Domestic Natural Gas Meters
- DAH1 – Warm Air Heaters
Throughout the course, training and assessment will cover a wide range elements relevant to gas fired appliances, these include:
- Installation
- Commissioning
- Service and Maintenance
- Basic Gas Safety Fault Finding

This course will ensure competence and compliance when working on gas fired appliances.
Entry Requirement
Operatives must have previously held the relative appliance qualification. To qualify for re-assessment, previous qualifications must not have expired by more than 12 months.

Practical assessment and multiple-choice theory assessment (all open book)
