Overview
What will I learn?
This programme is for anyone who wishes to enter the electrical contracting business as an electrician. It is particularly suitable for school leavers. It will prepare entrants for the industry via the lead industry body, the Scottish Electrical Charitable Training Trust. Please note entrants will not receive a SQA award. The objective is for students to find electrical apprenticeships

What qualifications do I need?
- National 4 English
- National 4 Mathematics
- National 4 in Science or Technical subject
or
- Equivalent qualifications or experience
What can I do after?
Successful entrants are expected to pursue a career as an Apprentice Electrician. The programme is designed to prepare students for both Domestic and Industrial sectors.
