This course’s content reflects the industry lead training body Skillset’s professional standards. It will give you the opportunity to develop the practical skills and underpinning theoretical knowledge required to be successful within the Television and Digital Film making industry.

What qualifications do I need?

Minimum qualifications required are either one higher preferably in English, a creative subject or a science such as Physics. An NC qualification (preferably NC Creative Industries, NC Television, NC Media or similar). All applicants will be interviewed, where you will be expected to demonstrate a real and genuine interest and passion for the media and film and TV in particular.

What can I do after?

Some students choose to go into industry at assistant or trainee level in a number of roles. Most students however develop their skills further and move on to another course, such as:

  • HND Creative Industries: Television
  • before applying for a degree course at a variety of institutions of which there are many options for students who gain this qualification
