Course Content
An introduction to airless spray painting through demonstrations and supervised practical activities. Learn how to prepare a work area, set up equipment and practise controlled application on suitable surfaces.
Safe working, high pressure hazards and injection injury awareness; suitable protective equipment and ventilation; masking and surface preparation; selecting compatible coatings and spray tips; equipment checks and set up; pressure adjustment, spray distance and overlap; recognising common finish defects; safe pressure release, cleaning and storage.
Entry Requirements
No formal qualifications or previous experience are required. This introductory course is suitable for beginners and people wishing to improve their DIY skills or upskill.
Progression
Build on your decorating skills and explore further painting and decorating or equipment specific spray training.
