What qualifications do I need?
You'll need to have an SVQ level 3 in a trade craft or NC Built Environment (SCQF level 6) or construction industry experience or Civil Engineering Foundation Apprenticeship.What can I do after?
After successfully completing this course, you'll have the skills needed to get an entry level role in the construction industry as a building control officer, clerk of work, site agent or a property maintenance officer.
Or you could develop your skills further by studying another course, such as:
- Modern Apprenticeship in Construction Management
- Degree-level course in Construction Management
- Various Construction degrees (at discretion of the university)
