This course provides candidates with the knowledge and skills to successfully implement internal and external quality assurance procedures in-line with the organisational and awarding body requirements.

Areas of study include:

  • Supporting assessors
  • Monitoring the quality of the assessors’ performance
  • Meeting external quality assurance requirements

This course can be started at any point in the academic year.

What qualifications do I need?

No formal qualifications required. Applicants should be employed in a job role which allows them to quality assure the assessment process and be able to demonstrate occupational competencies in the area.

Applicants must have access to at least two assessors who are assessing learners following the same qualification and will require access to internal verification meetings and must have support from the Centre’s Internal Verifier.

Assessment will be conducted through the production of a portfolio cataloguing of learner's work.
