West College Scotland are delighted to be involved in an exciting new project, delivered in partnership with Renfrewshire Council and the Glasgow Homelessness Network.

West College Scotland has signed the Armed Forces Covenant, pledging our commitment to supporting the Armed Forces community.

On Monday 20 August West College Scotland welcomed 27 of Glasgow’s leading professionals in Hairdressing, Barbering, Beauty and Make-up to our inaugural Creative Exposure event.

Research conducted by West College Scotland has found that the skills gap is the single biggest barrier to business growth in the West of Scotland.

While a good education, a strong CV and the confidence to apply for jobs form the basis of obtaining a graduate job, some students are finding other ways to gain competitive advantage on the career ladder. In a world where the number of graduates is increasing and companies’ budgets are being squeezed, it is vital that students have already formed employer links by the time it comes for them to graduate.
