HNC Fashion Makeup students showcased their skills last week in their final Graded Unit event.

West College Scotland is proud to announce that it has been awarded a Health and Social Care VR Learning Grant from Care Reality. This grant has been designed to expand awareness and utilisation of virtual reality (VR) and extended reality (XR) in the health and social care sector.

Silviu Soare, a former HND Computer Games Development student, has successfully transitioned to the University of the West of Scotland (UWS), where he is carrying our an BSc (Hons) in Computer Games Development. Silviu is set to graduate this summer, marking a significant milestone in his journey as a game developer.

West College Scotland’s ‘Minds of Young Artists’ (MOYA) were delighted to collaborate with Hermitage Academy to foster entrepreneurial spirit among sixth-year students pursuing their NC Creative Industries. Led by Lecturer, Debbie Dennett from the College, the students embarked on a journey of creativity, collaboration, and business acumen.

West College Scotland, in collaboration with Energy Skills Partnership, was recently selected to host a pivotal focus group activity aimed at informing the Scottish Government’s Just Transition Team on significant regional and national advancements in Construction & Built Environment, Energy, and Transport sectors in relation to our adaptive curriculum. This initiative highlights the College's commitment to adapting its curriculum offering to meet the evolving needs of the industries and communities we serve
