The winners of the Micro 80, Neat Living Awards announced at the CitizenM Hotel, Glasgow.

As part of our Erasmus+ Programme, the students were welcomed from our partner school, Business College Syd in Sønderborg, Denmark. The six students were pleased to fulfil placements in 3 local stores: Dobbies, M&CO & Boots at intu Braehead. During their trip they also took cultural visits around the local area in Paisley and Glasgow as well as a weekend trip to Edinburgh to see the sights.

His Royal Highness The Duke of Gloucester visited West College Scotland last Thursday to see how students are gaining the skills to preserve our built heritage, as well as designing modern homes for the 21st century.

Our amazing former student Amy Conachan is up for a British soap award! Amy graduated in 2011 from the College and she's now playing Courtney in ‘Hollyoaks’.

We have been working in partnership with the Scottish Out of School Care Network (SOSCN) to design and deliver a course which trains selected candidates from the out of school care field to deliver and evaluate STEM (computer coding) playful learning activities to children in out of school care services.

It was another beautiful result for our talented Hairdressing and Make-up Artistry students at this year’s Association of Hairdressing and Therapists (AHT) finals competition.
