BA (Hons) Drama Alumni Reece Donnelly is set to be one of the 18 candidates competing for Lord Sugar’s investment in the new series of the popular BBC show 'The Apprentice'.

Reece Donnelly

Reece, from South Lanarkshire, is already a highly successful entrepreneur having founded two businesses – Theatre School of Scotland and Theatre College of Scotland - shortly after completing his studies at West College Scotland. At only 25 years old, he is the youngest college owner in the UK and will be hoping to utilise his business-savvy skills in the competitive show.

Leoon Hey, Drama Lecturer, commented on Reece’s time at West College Scotland:

"Reece was an outstanding, committed, charming and intelligent student who was with us from NC right through to BA (Hons). I remember auditioning Reece and was instantly impressed with his talent and charisma.

He had a real desire to succeed and was knowledgeable about the industry from being a very successful child actor.

As a college, we were very privileged Reece chose us to further educate him and we continue to work and develop relationships with Reece in his many successful business ventures.

He continues to be a huge asset to our department and a wonderful human being".

We’re so excited to follow Reece’s journey as he sets out to impress Lord Sugar and compete to win the lucrative quarter-of-a-million-pound investment. Tune in to 'The Apprentice' every Thursday at 9pm on BBC One.
