Hospitality students help feed thousands of hungry rugby fans at the Scotland versus England match at Murrayfield earlier this month.

HND Photography students from the Colleges Paisley campus were thrilled to be amongst photographers capturing the Dynamic New Athletes (DNA) event at the Emirates Arena earlier this month.

West College Scotland is delighted to have received funding from the UK Government through the Community Renewal Fund, to establish ‘West Care Academy’, where we will offer a suite of training throughout West Dunbartonshire and Inverclyde.

‘A small conversation about mental health has the power to make a big difference.’

With an ever-increasing focus on mental health and wellbeing within our society, Sports Lecturer, Linda Boal felt it would be a mutually beneficial and engaging real life learning experience for our students to work with individuals who suffer with their mental health, with the goal of also removing some of the stigmas attached with this subject.
