    Science Modern Apprentice Amanda crowned ‘Top Apprentice’ at the 3rd Annual Invest in Renfrewshire Employability Awards

    The Aiming Higher Awards which took place on Wednesday 15 June brought local movers and shakers out in force to celebrate the economic and employment success and progress of those participating in the Invest in Renfrewshire programme. Amongst the nine finalists was our very own, recently appointed Science Technician Amanda Allan.

    “Fellow Scotsmen, we need your help!” says an impersonation of Nicola Sturgeon in our HNC students’ winning game

    For their graded unit, our HNC Games development students had to design a game on a predefined theme: Scotland. After 10 weeks of programming, development, design and fine-tuning, last Wednesday was THE big day! The games were being tested by very challenging judges: primary school pupils.
