Angela has over 22 years of experience in the further education sector, including 15 at a senior leadership level.

 

Previously an Assistant Principal at West from 2013 to 2024, Angela moved to South Lanarkshire College in 2024 before rejoining WCS a year later as Vice Principal, Curriculum.

 

A graduate of the University of Glasgow in Philosophy and English Literature and Glasgow School of Art in Design, Angela is also a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and is a keen creative thinker.

 

 

She is passionate about learning and teaching, realising students’ potential and enabling better life chances for students to thrive.

 

Angela was involved in writing the National Professional Standards for Lecturers in Scotland’s Colleges, the Digital Ambition for Scotland’s Colleges and is an Associate Tutor for the University of Aberdeen for the TQFE.



On a personal note, Angela loves DIY, travelling, reading, gardening, and all things cultural.
