Course Aims

This course has been approved by the Ground Source Heat Pumps Association for operatives within the plumbing, heating and renewable industries. It is designed to provide you with the skills to design, install and commission ground source, and air source heat pumps.

  • Installation methods for Ground Source and Air Source Heat Pumps.
  • Commission systems for Ground Source and Air Source Heat Pumps.
  • Servicing requirements for GSHP/ASHP systems.

Entry Requirements

Candidates should have a number of years’ experience in plumbing or conventional heating engineering or hold a formal qualification at SVQ Level 3 in plumbing or heating engineering or are currently undertaking a course in plumbing or heating engineering which will lead to a formal qualification at SVQ Level 3.

Exam

Multiple choice and practical assessment

Course Duration

4 days. 9am to 5pm.

Minimum Numbers to Run

This course requires a minimum of 10 participants to run. If this number isn’t reached then you will be contacted to offer you the next available date
