The course is focused on those who have a keen interest in Creative Media Make up and would like to pursue a career in Make- up Artistry progressing to a more in-depth level of study then moving into the Media Industry

This creative exciting course will cover practical subjects which will give a good understanding and skills set to enable successful students move forward with their Makeup career.

Subjects covered within the course are:

• Wigs and Postiche
• Character Make up
• Special FX
• Hairdressing, Hairstyling for Media

What qualifications do I need?

No formal qualifications are required, although an artistic flair and a love of Makeup Artistry and a strong interest in media is essential.

Having experience in Art, Drama, Photography Hair, Makeup or Beauty would be advantageous but not essential.

You will have the chance to develop your creativity within Makeup Artistry and be involved in curriculum activities during your course

When applying please complete all sections and an informal interview on campus is also required.

Must be Age16 and over to apply.

What can I do after?

Successful completion from this course can lead to further study in Makeup Artistry to allow you become industry ready
