Over 400 children participated in this year’s challenge and the best teams were competing at the final taking place yesterday at the Mitchell Library in Glasgow. 86 pupils from 18 schools were here to create a game based on this year’s theme: Scotland, with the support of volunteers from West College Scotland, Glasgow Caledonian, Morgan Stanley and Glasgow Libraries.

“It's a great way to actively encourage children to not just be consumers of games but to get them to realise that they can create their own and possibly even start to think about careers in the industry.”

We’re looking forward to welcoming some of these talented pupils into one of our Computing courses in the near future: www.westcollegescotland.ac.uk/courses/course-directory/courses/computing-games
