Alex’s success story featured in today’s Paisley Daily Express in a full double page spread

It’s only a few years ago that Alex left school in Renfrew to join West College Scotland. He has progressed with us from an NC in Photography right through to his HND where he graduated with an A grade in 2014.

Alex was driven and, with the College's training and guidance, soon found his natural photographic ability was in Fashion Photography. Since leaving the College last June, Alex has built on his training and created a fantastic body of work that has been admired around the world – all the way to getting him talent spotted by three New York Fashion Modelling agencies. They have commissioned him to work with them on their Autumn/Winter projects.

As you can imagine, Alex is thrilled

"That's me officially signed for three New York Agencies and moving to New York. Thanks so much to my tutors for their support and guidance over the past three years".

Robert Tabor, Photography Lecturer at West College Scotland, is extremely proud and pleased for Alex:

"The very best part of my fantastic job at the college is to see our students join the industry. Alex has shown such talent, his images are beautiful. He will, I am sure, be an internationally recognised future major star of photography – we are so proud of him"
