West College Scotland scoop two awards at this year’s College Development Network Marketing Awards.

The celebratory evening held in the capitals unique venue ‘The Caves’ saw Colleges from across Scotland recognised for their excellent marketing practices.

Nominated in two of the nine categories, West College Scotland is thrilled to have won Silver for Internal Communications for their Collective Ambition Programme (CAP). A programme strategically designed to personalise the communication process post-merger. The judges thought this project highlighted a strong people led  approach which unutilised college resources to position senior figures as highly visible and accessible, resulting in clear evident positive outcomes.

The Integrated Marketing Campaign category saw the College awarded Bronze for their full-time course recruitment campaign #wcsselfie, a campaign which the judges described as an innovative idea resulting in a range of deliverables that were eye catching and attractive the target audience.

Director of Communication, Policy and Planning, Diarmid O’Hara, commented,

“This is fantastic recognition of the great work that our marketing and internal communication teams have done and continue to do. These awards are a wonderful achievement and will help enhance our reputation and profile across West Dunbartonshire, Renfrewshire, Inverclyde and beyond.”
