The Microsoft Kodu School Award celebrates educational organisations that are developing their computing curriculum and involving Kodu – a game development platform using a simple visual programming language.

David Renton, our Curriculum & Quality Leader for Computing and Microsoft Most Valuable Professional, is leading the development of Kodu activities at the College. This Award recognises his efforts towards the use of Kodu to teach school students creativity, problem solving, storytelling, as well as programming.

We are also organising the Scottish edition of the @KoduKup in conjunction with Microsoft – entries must be submitted by the end of May, hurry up! http://1drv.ms/1EFqtWg

The final of the KoduKup Scotland will be at our Paisley Campus on the 17th of June, where 10 schools from around Scotland will compete to be the Scottish champions. The winners will gain entry into the UK final at Microsoft HQ in Reading in July.
