Course Overview:

This course is about actively promoting equality of opportunity, diversity and inclusion. 

Delegates attending this course will

• Examine the rationale behind promoting equality of opportunity
• Consider the role of decision making in promoting culture and values within the organisation
• Recognise the role of behaviour, words and actions
• Understand responsibilities and liabilities under legislation and your organisation’s code of practice
• Identify areas where needs could be better satisfied or improved
• Recognise sources of specialist expertise
• Able to respond to different ways of working to meet different needs, abilities and values
• Appreciate the role of monitoring, reviewing and taking action to ensure equality.

 It is recommended for first line managers and middle managers.
