Each course is different.  For our NCFE courses a few hours per week would be the minimum amount of study time. For Moodle courses a good rule of thumb is that for every hour spent doing ‘class’ work (assignments etc.) one hour should be spent doing ‘private’ study. The Online Learning staff will be able to give you more information tailored to your specific qualification.
