I’m in one day a week in college studying in Greenock and the rest of my time I’m working from the Clydebank campus. I just love it, and I didn’t have any expectations of what it’d be like.

I left school in 5th year and I’d always really liked science. I wasn’t great at sitting in lectures; I wanted to do something more hands on. So to come to college was just great as I got to do something practical….

I love the modern apprenticeship as I’m learning and earning at the same time. I actually feel like I’ve really grown up over the past few months and become a more responsible adult. I’m working towards my SVQ level 3 in Life Sciences and Related Industries and after this MA I plan to go to university and get a job.

I don’t know how anyone couldn’t enjoy undertaking a Modern Apprenticeship, I’m so glad I’ve had this opportunity. I really enjoy working.’

The MA roles are very sought after as it really gives a good underpinning for fantastic employment opportunities and progression onto University.’
