What will I learn?

Demonstrate that you have the skills needed to get the most out of Office by earning a Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certification in a specific Office program. Take your understanding of Microsoft Office PowerPoint to the next level. This course will expand your skills and knowledge, you may learn quicker ways to perform tasks, enhance the look of your slides and even new areas of PowerPoint that you didn’t know about. This course covers Microsoft Office 365.

Areas covered in this course include

  • Create and manage presentations
  • Insert and format text, shapes and images
  • Insert tables, charts, SmartArt and media
  • Apply transitions and animations
  • Manage multiple presentations

Included in the course fee is access to the online learning site, hardcopy learning materials, practice exam, 1 attempt at the course exam and 1 resit (if required). Further resit attempts are charged at £72.50 (this includes an administration fee) On successful completion of the course you will receive a Microsoft Office Specialist Certificate. Tutor support is not included in this package.

What qualifications do I need?

Applicants should have a working knowledge of Microsoft powerpoint.

As the course is part delivered online it would be beneficial if the candidate had basic competence in IT and the internet.

This course does not require a personal statement.

What can I do after?

This course can be used to progress onto full-time courses or further Microsoft Office Specialist courses such as Word. Other MOS courses may be available on request e.g. Access, Outlook etc.

Programme Information

Start Date: There are 2 intakes per academic session: September and January. January intake now closed, please apply for the September intake and we will contact you nearer the time for payment information

You will be contacted a few weeks prior to the course start date to process payment for your course, only those who have completed payment by the deadline date will be able to start the course.

Duration: From the start date of the course you have 20 weeks to complete including the exam and any exam resit you may require.
