What will I learn?
This is an entry level course to introduce candidates to the concept of management. This course is designed to develop the knowledge and skills required to manage individuals and teams. The course includes the following topics.
- Principles and practices of levels of management
- Tools and techniques for analysing the business environment
- Applying motivation theories in a range of situations
- The concept of leadership
- Management of teams
- The key management activities
What qualifications do I need?
There are no formal entry requirements for this course, however, as it is delivered online it would be beneficial if the candidate had basic competence in IT and the internet.
This course does not require a personal statement.
What can I do after?
This course is a good starting point for those individuals who are interested in starting their own business or who currently manage a small business and wish to increase their understanding of managing that business.
