Our Hairdressing, Beauty and Makeup Artistry teams were excited to be back “on the road” showcasing our skills at the ultimate trade exhibition experience, this years Scottish Hair & Beauty Show. With inspiring demonstrations by leading experts, a host of well-loved and upcoming brands on show, and a chance to connect with like-minded professionals from across the industry the two-day event was a huge success and our staff and students, past and present were delighted to be involved.

Our team of highly experienced lecturing staff, students and graduates showcased the latest trends in Hairdressing, Barbering, Makeup Artistry, Beauty and Aesthetics at our stand, including live demonstrations and question and answer sessions where individuals were able to pop along to find out more about our College and the courses on offer.

The exciting line up on the WCS stand included demonstrations from award winning makeup artistry student Cara Tonfini, jaw dropping prosthetics from talented student Aimee Hall as well as graduates who have gone onto great success in industry back to share their experience including Cameron Knox and Tracey Mack, to name just a few.

Event attendees were treated to a wide range of looks and insight to treatments such as CACI Jowl Lift, Advanced Massage Techniques, Bridal Hair up looks, Gents Barbering, Red Carpet Hair & Glam, Prosthetics and Theatrical Makeup.

Head of Hairdressing, Beauty & Makeup Artistry, Wendy Sheridan – Price said of the event,

“It was so exciting to be back out in industry at a live event, especially one on the scale and size as the Scottish Hair and Beauty Show. This is something our department has really missed during the pandemic. We loved meeting up with past and potential students, industry partners and brands as well as being able to showcase our skills. A massive thank you to Morven Aikman and her Task Team for making this event happen. The event welcomed over 3000 people over the two days and we can’t wait to see what the next event holds for us."
