Course Aims

This course aims to help plumbers and heating engineers who want to install Vented and Unvented Domestic Hot Water Storage Systems to comply with the appropriate Building Regulations and Standards. The manual for Scotland references Part J of the Building Standards.

Benefits of Attending

This course is for plumbing and heating engineers who want to install Domestic Hot Water Storage Systems, and will demonstrate their competence so they can either join a Competent Persons’ Scheme allowing the self-certification of installations, or to notify the local Building Control department prior to commencing work.

  • Design and installation of hot water storage systems
  • Maintenance of hot water storage systems
  • Meeting Building Regulation requirements
  • Sealed central heating systems

1 day. 9am – 5pm
