What will I learn?
This course has no entry requirements as it is designed for novice cooks to acquire the necessary culinary skills to impress friends and family in producing restaurant quality dishes.
Throughout the course you'll use professional recipes to produce delicious foods and all cookery processes and techniques will be explained in a relaxed and friendly manner. The classes take place in the professional catering kitchens of the college led by a fully trained Chef, who will offer you hints and tips on how to get the best from your cooking.
So why don’t you delight your friends and family with restaurant quality food or be the next dinner party guru. We'll teach you preparation techniques and tricks of the trade to make sure you're not stuck in the kitchen all night.
The course is also a great way of making new friends.
Examples of some dishes are:
- Easy Breads –Flat bread
- Meat – Lamb Kofta
- Puddings and desserts - Chocolate and Coconut Brownie
- Petit Four – Maccarons
More importantly, you’ll learn how to provide top quality food without being stuck in the kitchen all night!
