What will I learn?

This course will take you through all the key skills necessary to start your own creative business. You just need to bring an idea.

What qualifications do I need?

The course does not require any formal qualifications but applicants who have achieved National 4 & 5 qualifications or equivalent in art or design will be more strongly considered. When invited for digital interview be prepared to talk about your business idea. This course is for those who wish to create a business within the creative industries, this could range from anything from textile design, product design, craft, design services etc.

What can I do after?

Once you have mastered the basics you will be better equipped to enter the world of self-employment or pursue your skills and creativity further by having priority onto one of our creative industry courses at West College Scotland.
