Course Overview

Content

This Continuous Professional Development (CPD) course uses active learning to enable primary education teachers to engage and enthuse school pupils in science.

Over 3 consecutive after school sessions, the course will take you through three easy-to-implement activities specifically designed for school pupils – one each in biology, chemistry and physics. These fun and engaging projects will enable you to activate your pupils’ passion for science.

Each activity is designed to support children with engagement in the Experiences and Outcomes of the Curriculum for Excellence Framework.

What our clients say

Comments from teachers observing the pilot programme:

The classes really helped me gain confidence in delivering experiments and incorporating science into my lessons on a regular basis.

After delivering the projects to my class, the kids said that they love science and want to be a scientist in the future.
