Course Aims

Candidates will gain knowledge and understanding of how to safely isolate electrical systems allowing electrical repairs or installations to then be carried out.

Outline of Programme

  • Covers the Electricity at Work regulations
  • Demonstrates the procedure for safe isolation
  • Allows practical skills in safe isolation to be developed
  • Looks at different types of voltage testing equipment and compliance

Entry Requirements

There are no pre-entry requirements

Exam

  • Multiple choice paper
  • Practical exam

Course Duration

1 day. 9am to 5pm. Or 2 evenings.
