What will I learn?

 This is an entry level course to introduce candidates to the concept of marketing. The course is designed to develop the knowledge and skills required to undertake basic marketing activities. The course includes the following topics.

  • The marketing concept
  • Market research
  • Consumer behaviour
  • Components of the marketing environment
  • The 4Ps of the marketing mix
  • Components of customer care and selling skills

What qualifications do I need?

There are no formal entry requirements for this course, however, as it is delivered online it would be beneficial if the candidate had basic competence in IT and the internet.

This course does not require a personal statement.

What can I do after?

This course provides progression in the NCFE Certificate in Principles of Customer Service.  It is also a good starting point for those individuals who are interested in starting their own business or who currently manage a small business and wish to increase their understanding of the marketing aspects of the business.
